Hoarding

Im trying to clean up my room and ive dug up alot of old bday, xmas, encouragement cards etc... its a shame to throw them all away... (they take up a whole box!!!)
but at least ive been reading through all of them!

ive realised a couple of things
1. i love hoarding.. i keep all kinds of crap haha
2. if i met myself as a kid.. i think i would have given myself an uppercut.. i think i was such a punk back then
3. Life changes... soo many people come in and out of your life.. and you dont really realise it. Its kind of sad the friendships that you had, not all of them hang around, seasons change. But life does go on.. i guess im grateful and thanks be to eGod for those relationships... gives you more reason to be thankful for the friends, family and misc relationships you have now.... think about it :)

Yakiniku - Kashiwa

M and T were leaving back to spore so we all headed out for some Jap BBQ.. thanks emo for the recommendation! was sooo good!
We went to Kashiwa in crows nest... was really good food.. the only down side is that you come out smelling like you've sat in hunter connection for way too long :P

Gahhhh the wagyu... sooo good!!! 9/10


E ordered a salad.. i guess to wash down all the meat :P haha


we also had some tongue which was a little too chewy for me 3/10

Pork was also on par! yummo! 7.5/10

We had our div 1 mens final the other day! and came away with a WIN! 7 -4... But as it goes.. all the credit goes to the rest of the team.. not sure how much value i really add lol..
So we were playing a team TLE... it was a hard fought match although we did score 5-1 in the first half

We also got new uniforms. So we were instructed to go buy socks from rebel. so in i went. but no socks i could find :S instead i found some adidas predators :P shocking i know..
but thanks J for picking up the socks for me :)


So what did we win you might ask????

they couldnt even be bothered removing the price lol...

Snow!

We hit up the snowys last weekend with M, T & J.
Brillant weather saturday... pretty much this summed it up
Packed lifts...front valley


But warm weather, blue skies! awesome!


These cheese dogs were great! and the hot chocos 9.5/10!!!
not sure if i was just hungry and thirsty, but these really hit the spot!
at the same time it better be good for $4.5 hot chocolate, but it was worth EVERY CENT!!!


Had a great time with the crew...
i think everyone was a little sore from the bruises, M said he thought he dislocated his elbow from one of the stacks :P haha
Great time away... wish i was back there!


Fave trails for the day were Zalis and Roller coaster!

Sunday was pretty average..Blizzard conditions :S .. M and i were going to traverse back from blue cow.. but late afternoon they pretty much shut down the lifts :( fail..
had to tube it back to front valley

Prague

Went to Prague Restaurant the other night... nice little European restaurant tucked away in Kings Cross

J and i shared the "meat platter" for 2....
i think the ribs tasted like chorizo sausage haha..
nice and hearty on a winters day... 7/10


I think M enjoyed his pork knuckle


T's chicken schnitzel... i only tasted a bit.. but what i did taste was really good!


Finished it off with the crepe suzette! nomm nom!! 6.5/10

After using my wellgo's for a while.. i have marked them as pretty s'house...
they werent too bad to begin with .. but they just dont seem to fit the bill
yea they were cheap.. but at the same time i want to clip in first time

so i decided to pick up some 105s
on sale too... how could i say no!


they arent too heavy either coming in at 325grms per pair, not to heavy either

81.XX

Today was the City to Surf. Brilliant day for it too!
was a cool 17 degrees, perfect for running.. cloudless, sun shinning.. what else could you ask for?
WHY would a crazy person want to run 14km for? well for me it was just to beat my old time.. 83 something... it came down to 81.XX (according to G-SHOCK...official timing tuesday :P)

i was really aiming for sub 80s... boo.. but i cant complain i did beat my old time. What it did come down to was the blisters!!! agh.. for some reason im getting them when i run in my old kayanos... time for a new pair i think! haha

i had to stop TWICE at the st john's ambos.. (KUDOS to them!) for some bandaids & tape to help me going.. i actually felt slight jipped coz of the blisters.. i thought i could have gone slightly harder.. i guess there's always next year :P


The beach was PACKED out as per usual... but standing in the queue with H & KL... time flew..


So at the end of the day... i came away with this.. so does another 80,000 people haha
but mine comes with street cred..


I know i said maybe next year crack the 80s.. but im not built for running. I feel this body breaking down already :S

im thinking cycling is more my thing.... maybe next on the list... syd - gong???

Knog Beetle

Got this new front light for the roadie..
Needed something which could fit the oversized bars. Unfortunately its not 1 watt
but im hoping that it still does the trick out @ dusk
Comes with a couple of different modes, and looks pretty sleek on the bars... so far so good :)
