B and i went to check out the $2.95 breakfast they had @ Ikea Rhodes

Looked alright.... and for $2.95... for this who could complain..

the coffee itself was $2.25... thats nearly another meal!

I thought i would try to make the most of it.. so as soon as i finished one..

i went back for a hot chocolate.... worst decision ever

tasted soooo watery... ewww

Christmas Shenanigans - Part III - Christmas Dinner

For Christmas dinner we headed to K's house.
Speaking with him earlier we decided to try cooking ribs... so 2 days earlier... this is what i prepared basted with BBQ, Worchestire Sauce, S&P, Vinegar, Honey, Chilli Flakes ... hmm i think thats it

We cooked it for about 1hr in the foil then 15mins on the grill to give it some colourThe finished product...tasted alright.. but could have been more tender..

For Christmas Lunch the family went to J & E's house. As always they put on a very good show

They had this Tetsuya's oyster dressing... i expected big things, but in all honesty.. didnt taste THAT great...

I was helping clean up.. then the whisk sliced me haha.. how soft i know.. a whisk..?!?!

For Xmas eve we went to J's house for a Christmas Eve Dinner.
Started off with some "light games"...
Of course our team dominated ;)

So on to the food... glorious food.

I managed to get away relatively unscathed...V got smashed

Then it was on to Chris Cringle....

We played more games.. they suxed... haha

maybe coz its coz i kept on losing haha...

Slept @ 2.. i think??? i knocked out straight away...

Great night! had heaps of super fun, Thanks for having us J...hope there wasnt too much cleaning needing to be done after we left?

I guess we often forget the reason why we have christmas... and are too occupied with the food, presents and more presents :S Christmas is all about the birth of Jesus, and the reason why he came into the world....think about it :)

Ive picked up Matthew Reilly's "The Five Greatest Warriors"... hoping for a good read..
Currently im about 100 pages in. As J mentioned, it probably isnt as good as ice station. But its readable.

Just got back from seeing Avatar... what a movie.. a DEF must see!
the animation was crazy!!
We watched it in Event Cinema's VMAX 3D... and picked up these funky glasses There is a caution on the side... "Not for use as sunglasses"... yea like i would try??? I actually was wearing my glasses at the same time.. so DOUBLE specs... 6 eyes

These glasses look very similar to the rayban wayfarer...

you could also buy "designer" 3D glasses which looked very similar to aviators for $25...hmm nah... i dont think so.

Yesterday we trekked out to wakefield again for another bash @ the track... it was sooooooooo hot!
maybe around 35 degrees or so... long shirt.. long pants ...no a/c + helmet..
= die hards lol..

So the 6:30am departure time was slightly delayed as B has some tummy issues, but no matter.. we continued on! We stopped @ Goulbourn for our typical driver bfast fast...
Pancakes, sausage & egg, bacon and egg.. wash it all down with coffee!

So we got there.. heard some loud cars...

we thought we were going to be the only cars on the track..

then we saw these bad boys.. apparently they were doing 1.05s... and that was "slow"

This evo was sooooo LOUD!!! crazy

Track temps were VERY hot.. not pleasant at all to drive in..

I did not perform @ all :( fail... however at least i did clock the same time i was doing last round...1.24.24.. maybe the slightest bit faster.. but not really...

K was around the same...

i think the heat really put us off..

However Circuit Hero B showed how it was done..

Not only did he beat his previous time.. but smashed it by 2 secs... getting 1.22.XX..
