Kopitiam is a small coffee shop in asia..
But in Syd .. its a small restaurant around the glebe area...
2nd time ive been there now, its not too bad when craving asian.

Chilli, a MUST with the chicken rice


Apparently you can only order the chicken rice on the weekends + there is limited stock.. so ordering chicken rice is a must!
Its not too bad.. i think on par with Temasek...


Was going to go with a nasi goreng, but actually ended up with the mee goreng.
Spicy yet satisfying...

Anyways.. went with B and KL to watch this "fire on water" show.. most boring thing ever haha..
im pretty slack.. but it wasnt anything special. i really did expect more

So then we ventured to the o/s passenger terminal... there we had a good view of the Opera house and the images that were projected... although it took like 10 mins per image which left us snapping away for 2 mins.. then another 8 waiting for it to change haha
it was pretty cold that night :S





But at the same time, maybe i wasnt in the best mood haha..
From lack of sleep + going for a 20km cycle earlier on... maybe i should have paced myself a little more...

Still it was good to get out.. use the tripod and remote shutter :)

For some reason i have a thing for white shoes... not sure why.. but i like white haha

Usually when you get take-away from the chinese/indian/thai place you get a rather looking shabby bag.. For lunch.. i got some pad thai and came in this plastic bag.

I was really impressed by the bag.. some would think im a bit of a spaz for getting excited about a plastic bag, but i think its cool :P

This is probably my 3rd time out climbing.. its great! the challenge and just being OUTDOORS is awesome!
anyways.. singing rock stuff were on sale, so picked up a "bena" just to make swapping lines easier.... this climbing stuff is soo cool! its so blingy! haha.. i want more.

Hel's House warming

Hel's recently moved into her new place... so in true "helen style" we had to invite ourselves over for a house warming... She took us to Lamono

Happy Bday Aaron!

It was aaron's bday last wed (HAPPY BDAY AARON!!!) so to celebrate we hit the town. We also were celebrating "everyone's got a job now / just moved to a new job"...
Most memorable events were bobby's "supermanning" of some random he accidentally bumped into... jase being "c-blocked" multiple times.. "hey can you dance with my friend.. its his bday" and also.. "why do we have to leave so early"... all good :) - photo courtesy of danny

the morning after we hit up a cafe in surry hills for some brunch.. omelette was on the menu for everyone Tired and sleep deprived i still managed to get out on the bike for a local ride...short and sweet, still it was fun.. just to get out in the sunshine was awesome!

another pressie KL brought back from o/s was this awesome looking cup of 2 min noodles... "nissin" of course :)
unfortunately it wasnt a mega cup of 2 min noodles but rather this mad looking tissue box.. cant wait to put it to use :)

8hrs

Im not sure if im getting soft/old but i seem to die if i dont get enough sleep... well mainly during work.. i can always power through the weekend :P

SO im trying to go bed earlier.. and wake up earlier... we'll see how it goes

Farewell Alarice!

It was rice's last sunday @ church ..shes heading off to singapore for while so we wont see her for a while :( its sad, but ok.. bigger and brighter skies ahead!

She also launched her new ep .. SUNDAY AFTERNOON

We sent her off in style.. kinda.. we all went to chong hing for lunch.. bring on the SP chicken wings, SP Squid, XO beans and honey pepper pork.
Rice with her "birthday/leaving cake".. this is assuming that she wont be back in syd for her bday lol..
im pretty crappy saying bye... :S... but we will miss you! hope that the season ahead is full of challenges and great oppotunities for you to grow and become more like Christ. Its always sad to see a friend move on, but we know that you'll be in contact and when you come back we def have to do more "man vs wild" action...spear fishing and the like! (maybe ill be rich enough to afford a knife with a pouch rather than a rubber band lol)

Scored a free lunch today... from Eleven Kitchen & Cellar on king street wharf

was to do with a promotion with Lawson's Bread. Restaurants were given an oppo to make a "gourment" sandwich..

mine was "Alaskan King Crab with wild lime"

Not bad @ all.. give it a 8/10... very tasty.. i would say on par with the big sandwich on pitt street.
