I wanted to start getting into road after watching tour de france and was just really curious how it was to ride with a bike less than 10Kgs and minimal rolling resistence

Was thinking of picking up a Trek 1400 full 105 groupset, but then i actually stumbled across a real bargain. Although this baby isnt Dura-ace i think it will do for the time being. So i picked it up the other week, frame pretty much brand new i only can find 2 scratches on the whole bike, just needs a service.

Not only has the bike hardly been used, but it came with this wireless trip clock! i went into the shop RRP $100... wow.. not bad eh? Wireless comp + clip ins = i thought was begging to be taken (though i think i might have been biased (but i dont even have the clip in shoes??!?) still want! haha)

anyways.. i want to try and find a local ride that i can continually do, time myself and see how much i can beat it by each time. So i tried the track @ lane cove Nat park. its a nice ride... but super bumpy.. consequently im re-thinking if this should be my "home track"
my time, casually riden for the first time
