X2
Great weekend for hitting up the trails.. Managed to get out twice! The trance is Sooo smooth over everything ... That bein said I still do try look ahead for the lines and path of less resistance. The higher centre of gravity hasn't really cause any problems either..
I guess my stack count is 1 so far.. Being a smart ass doing or attempting a stoppee on the trail and going over the handle bars.. And another time when my bar end clipped a tree sending me into another tree.. But technically that didn't count lol
This was a ride @ Epping... About 14kms with s & k...
Can't wait till we get out again!!

Trance x2
After riding the Dam with M and K.. it seemed apparent that the hardtail just wasnt cutting it any more. Not only that but i couldnt be assed changing my slicks to knobblies all the time haha.. well thats my justification for it.
So... off i went exploring the full suss route. After having a look at the different ranges, giant seemed to be bang for buck once again, and with nothing but good experiences with the yukon i decided stick with giant.
frame choice? i was leaning more towards the anthem, just coz of the slightly cheaper price tag but reading up on the geometry of the bikes, the trance seemed the way to go. Not as racey as the anthem, the trance was more up right and more of a "do everything" bike. Tick...
went to KOM @ Crowsnest to find what i was looking for.. and 2 weeks later came home with the x2
