Inception

I wasnt feeling the best .. i think im down with the flu :S .. but yesterday pushed on so i could watch inception!
Turned out to be a really good movie.The best ive seen this year... as they said its kinda cross between the matrix and Bond.

Uncapped

A while ago i was capped .... fizzer.. i know!
then all of a sudden my comp just died..



Had to start from scratch all over again..
at least my comp is running slightly faster!
+ now that im uncapped i can at least download things like itunes lol...

The plans...

So its coming together (finally) plans are in for the kitchen and other parts are "getting there" and when i say getting there are still far off lol..

Regardless renos are such a big hassle esp if you're hearts not there..
i guess for me i just want to go and play.. but it takes time. You think.. "oh i need a tap" and walk into the tap shop and realise there is like 50 000 types of taps.

maybe its a chick thing? they like picking this and that. Dont get me wrong.. its not that i DONT like doing it.. its just the choice is crazy! :S too much choice sometimes isnt the best lol

anyways.. more researching/planning and decisions to make!

Em i rkn you can start your own bakery...set one up down @ artarmon.. the "local" patisserie. I would visit EVERY DAY!!!

Parents took us out to Matire Karl the other night. Great little Franco German restaurant in the willoughby/chatswood area.

We started off with this "Tarte Flambee" which is pretty much like a pizza.. orignated from areas bording france/germany..

This one was the oyster mornay w/ spinach


We also had the scallops... i think i could have smashed the whole thing myself!


Mains was duck all around ... 3 of us had the roasted duck.. as seen below


And 3 of us .. including myself had the special.. duck Confit

Desert was pretty much a strawberry pie... i didnt any of this.. not sure how it went down.
looked the goods tho :)

J and i shared this "tarte" ..orange liquor covered the tarte with a scoop of vanilla bean ice creammmmmmmm!


we also shared the chocolate platter ... that cake in the far right was dense! yumoo


just looking at these pics make me feel full all over again!

El Jannah Action

Being out @ smithfield so much gives us the oppo to get in on the Lebanese Chicken @ El Jannah. Got to love the garlic sauce.. yummmo!

Have to find recipe to make this.. but apparently alot of it is mayo??? never get sick of the stuff :)

@ TGV they have a set up giving a brief insite into the "fixie" culture of syd. It was quite interesting looking at all the profiles of the people.. alot of them asian lol..

but more importantly the bikes look pretty hot haha..

Question.. would a fixie??? hmmm probably not.. hardly have any time ot ride the roadie let alone another bike...
Would be pretty cool tho.. i want to try one :)
